About the association
The Prairie Association of IB World Schools is an organization of the eight IB schools in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
What the association does
- Meetings
- It supports its member schools through regular meetings of coordinators and principals.
- University liaison
- It acts as a liaison with local universities. See university recognition of IB results.
- Teachers
- It supports networking of teachers between schools.
- Students
- It provides opportunities for students to meet and interact.

The IB in the Prairies
The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation that offers four programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP) and the Career-related Programme (CP).
The Diploma Programme is a two-year programme for students in the last years of high school. Most of the courses listed on this site belong to it. The programmes each member school offers are shown in the school directory.
